It's hard to believe it's the 1st day of fall already. I guess summer goes by so fast because most of us are more active when the weather is nice.(I know I am).

The leaves are starting to turn colors, and I love the beauty of Fall. But can winter be far behind? The older I get the more I enjoy winter from the inside looking out. It wasn't always that way I did my share of ice skating, sledding, ice fishing and even snowmobiling but that's the past, so back to the present. The weather today is beautiful great day for a walk so you will have to excuse me for a while I am going to walk around the block. bye for now!

FOOT WEAR

MY JOURNEY FROM CNN TO FOX NEWS:

I was a good fan of CNN for a long time, everyone knew better than to bother me when Lou Dobbs was on. My TV was always tuned to CNN (except for a few hours to watch Gunsmoke or Bonaza) then I began to notice a pattern most of the News casters were treating Obama like he was a King and Hillery like she wasn't worthy of any good coverage only bad. (jealousy?) maybe. Anyway I tuned in to MSNBC and watched morning Joe, loved it at first, until I watched Mika fold her arms and glare at Joe, if he said anything nice about Hillery one to many times. ( he did treat her fairly in my opinion.) Good job Joe. Now getting very disolusioned about fair coverage (after all I think I am smart enough to make up my own mind about who to vote for I have been doing it for years) So I decided to give Fox News a chance and I liked what I saw so I am now a Fox Fan I am also a life long Dem. who will be voting Rep. this year (and I do vote). thank you Fox for not trying to make up my mind for me.

College: day 2

lets see, day two... I was up really late last night on the computer messing around so after my first class I came home to read for another class and fell asleep reading, so Did lexi on the top bunk. I woke up to her hard cover book crashing down the side of my bed... that was fun, In math today I had to hop down the lecutre hall, which is ALOT off steps to talk to the professor about a question on the review and he blew me off so i had to hop back up, turns out he had already emailed all the answers out.

1st day of classes instant message from my granddaughter

why today was bad... i woke up late... then didn't get to look all cute for school, my math class is just stressful, i emailed the teacher last night saying i should switch classes but he never got back to me. then my second class was spanish and that was actually really good because i love spanish, but i ruined my book... (water accident) after spanish i had to go back to the apartment to switch books but it was raining... so i get wet, then, when it was time to go back it was POURING so I skipped my pshc. class... and writing was ok but i was late.

Granddaughter off to College

My oldest granddaughter packed up and left for College on Thursday (her first year) nothing unusual about that a lot of kids do that after high school,but unfortunately she broke her foot the Saturday before dancing at a wedding, and because of the swelling could not be fitted with a cast before she left so she left with a temporary boot cast and her apartment happens to be on the third floor with no elevator so she is left to crawl up the stairs she is not to good with crutches yet. The College did provide her with a motorized scooter to get back and forth to classes. She called me on Saturday nite her room mates had all gone out and we talked for quite awhile.
She will be coming home on Thursday to have a cast put on.
